Employment Supports Worker

Reporting to the Manager, Employment Services or such other persons as deemed necessary by the agency, the Employment Supports Worker will identify, assess and support clients experiencing homelessness or precarious housing in achieving their employment goals. Working closely with the Housing Services Department, the Employment Support Worker will build connections with Dixon Hall shelter residents and individuals housed through the Housing Services Support Team, to provide employment supports access, other identified agency related supports, referrals, and follow up for clients for the purpose of assisting them in accessing employment and training opportunities. The Employment Support Worker will work closely with partner agencies to explore access to employment opportunities and critical engagement strategies.

Job Developer, Employment Services

Reporting to the Manager of Employment Services Centre, the Job Developer is responsible for marketing the Employment Service Centre to employers, local community and agency partners. The Job Developer recruits employers and manages ongoing employer relationships, obtains employment opportunities, develops and maintains employer databases, and arranges job matching and placement, negotiates employer wage incentives and supports job retention, to achieve the Employment Ontario Performance Management System targets.
