Job Developer

Reporting to the Manager of Employment Services Centre, the Job Developer is responsible for marketing the Employment Service Centre to employers, local community and agency partners. The Job Developer recruits employers and manages ongoing employer relationships, obtains employment opportunities, develops and maintains employer databases, and arranges job matching and placement, negotiates employer wage incentives and supports job retention, to achieve the Employment Ontario Performance Management System targets.

Administrative Services Manager

Reporting to the Director, Housing Services, the Administrative Services Manager is responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating supportive services for the Housing Service Department. The specific responsibilities vary, but include facilities
maintenance and supervision activities that include recordkeeping, mail distribution, and office upkeep. The Administrative Service Manager will supervise daily support operations of the department and plan the most efficient administrative procedures for
Dixon Hall’s Housing Services Department. The Administrative Services Manager will support a team of professionals focused on completing a range of administrative duties within the department.

Manager, Employment Services and Social Enterprise

Reporting to the Director of Employment Services the Manager, ESSE is responsible for providing effective leadership by directing the daily activities of the DHES staff, ensuring Employment Ontario Performance Measurement System targets are achieved, collecting and reporting DHES statistics and other related information to Employment Ontario and management and actively representing the DHES and Dixon Hall in the community. Managing and executing Social Enterprise business initiatives, the Manager, ESSE will drive all business development activity, through development of partnerships with the private sector. On the social development front, the incumbent will engage with the educational, non-profit, and union groups to ensure associated initiatives translate into sustainable employment and training opportunities for Enterprise participants.
