Dixon Hall Celebrates Next Step Culinary Horizon Graduates 

On February 13, 2026, Dixon Hall celebrated the graduation of its latest Next Step Culinary Horizon cohort. This 12-week intensive, delivered in partnership with George Brown Polytechnic, bridges the gap between aspiration and employment through 70 hours of online theory and 60 hours of in-kitchen training.  

One of out graduate shared how the program provided a path forward during a difficult time: 

 “The Next Step Culinary Training Program has been an amazing opportunity. Apart from gaining new skills such as professional cooking and team collaboration, this program has helped me overcome some of my personal obstacles. I found a supportive community and was motivated again to do something purposeful. Through this program, I was able to receive two job offers, and I am eager to start my first job and apply the skills and confidence I gained.”
