Dixon Hall’s 504–508 Parliament Street Nominated for a 2026 Built Heritage Award
We’re pleased to share that 504–508 Parliament Street has been nominated for a 2026 Built Heritage Award from Heritage Toronto.
Located in Cabbagetown, the project brings together heritage conservation and supportive housing, preserving the character and history of these historic townhouses while giving the buildings a new purpose. The restoration maintains important architectural details and the streetscape while adapting the homes to meet the needs of the community today.
The work also reflects the importance of being part of the surrounding neighbourhood. Dixon Hall is committed to engaging with neighbours, local businesses, elected officials and community partners to build strong relationships and help foster a safe, well-maintained and connected community.
With support from Reconnect Health Services, tenants can access wraparound supports that promote well-being, housing stability, independence and a sense of belonging.
The nomination recognizes what is possible when heritage conservation and community housing come together. We’re grateful to Toronto Community Housing, the City of Toronto, ERA Architects and Reconnect Health Services for their partnership and support in bringing 504–508 Parliament Street to life.
