Overdose Awareness Day: A Meaningful Tribute

Overdose Awareness Day: A Meaningful Tribute

Overdose Awareness Day is a global event dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of overdose, reducing the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, and acknowledging the grief experienced by families and friends. From August 29-31, we honored this important day by painting a chair purple, symbolizing the lives lost to overdose. Our harm reduction experts were on hand, offering practical resources on overdose prevention and safety.

At Dixon Hall, we remain committed to advocating for and supporting those impacted by substance use. Through our ongoing efforts, we strive to provide essential services and resources to ensure the health and safety of our community.
