Dixon Hall Welcomes Haydar Shouly as New Director of Housing Services
Toronto, ON: Dixon Hall is proud to announce the appointment of Haydar Shouly as the new Director of Housing Services. Haydar brings over 19 years of extensive experience in the Community Development, Housing, and Homelessness sectors, with a profound dedication to enhancing the well-being of marginalized and vulnerable populations in Downtown East Toronto.
Having been with Dixon Hall for more than 15 years, Haydar has been an integral part of our organization, contributing significantly to our mission and vision. His vast expertise spans across Youth and Adult Homelessness Supports, Housing Advocacy, Food Security, and Shelter Services. Throughout his career, Haydar has been a staunch advocate for building pathways to the Social Determinants of Health and has successfully incorporated the Harm Reduction Philosophy into various programs.
“I have been committed to enhancing the well-being of marginalized and vulnerable populations in our community, and I am excited to continue this work in my new role,” said Haydar Shouly. “Building strategic responses to homelessness, primarily in partnership with the Toronto Shelter & Support Services (TSSS) Division, has been a focal point of my work at Dixon Hall over the past 16 years. I look forward to furthering these efforts and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.”
Haydar’s appointment as the Director of Housing Services comes at a critical time as Dixon Hall continues to address the complex challenges of homelessness in Toronto. His strategic vision and collaborative approach will be instrumental in driving our housing initiatives forward and ensuring that our programs meet the evolving needs of the community.
